CoolManathi real name Sandisile Koyana born on the 2nd of Dec in 1986,Coolmanathi is an artist Based in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1996 he joined an umbhaqanga group where he was taught how to write songs, He later joined a kwaito group Soldiers Of Love. The group disbanded after CoolManathi was arrested for two months in 2001. In 2012 CoolManathi recorded an album which earned him recognition. He has shared the stage with big names like Fiesta Black, DJ Clock, DJ Tira, Speedy and Oskido. Now is currently busy at the studio working on a new EP titeld Ebunzimeni, this EP contains the expiriences of his daily life of which has a dynamic of emotion from the down to the top. South Africa is a melting pot, a country with 11 different official languages and a musical legacy littered with distinctive subgenres like kwaito, gqom, kwela, and bubblegum.
